LuAnn Thoma-Holec, FASID Principal
A passion for senior living interior design inspired LuAnn to launch a new company exclusively focused on it. Her 35 years of design experience in new home marketing centers, model merchandising, private residential, and hospitality support her ability to create home-like senior living and specialized care communities that are highly marketable, in-budget, and comply with the social model for senior living and care.
As principal, LuAnn is responsible for the implementation of the design criteria and project management of all senior living and specialized care communities.

Keith Senior Interior Designer
Keith grew up in Chicago and frequently visited installation art exhibitions. He was drawn to the energy humans have to transform the physical space. After attending art school at Arizona State University, he lived in Westchester County, NY, Washington, D.C., and Brooklyn, NY. Having spent time in the photography, internet, sculpture, visual merchandising and exhibit design industries, Keith decided to officially culminate his life experiences into an Interior Design degree, from Scottsdale Community College. Keith brings a wealth of knowledge about high-end residential and hospitality design to Thoma-Holec Design.
He currently resides in Scottsdale with his wife, two beagles, and a somewhat domesticated cat. He is a nationally exhibited photographer, runner and cyclist in his spare time.

Kim Senior Interior Designer
Originally born in Cedar Rapids, IA, Kim moved to Arizona in 1987. After graduating from college in 2005, Kim began working in the model home industry. With seven years interior design experience in model home merchandising, Kim decided that she would like to focus on the senior living industry and joined Thoma-Holec Design in 2012. Kim is an expert at and has a sincere passion for making spaces look aesthetically beautiful, while keeping in mind the functionality and needs of clients. She loves the creative process and working in a team environment. Taking the beginning phases of a project and seeing it come to fruition is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding for Kim, especially when she sees how excited the residents are when they move into the communities which make them feel right at home.

Leslie Senior Interior Designer
Leslie began working in the model home industry immediately out of college but soon discovered a love for helping people heal through beautifully designed spaces. She has been working in the healthcare industry for 16 years and has a passion for bringing comfort to patients, families and staff members by creating spaces that are nurturing, peaceful and creative yet extremely functional. She has worked on all sizes of projects from small sales centers, Community Recreation Centers on up to large multi-story Hospitals. She loves seeing a project through all phases and has 20 years of experience putting together projects from Design Development, Construction Documentation on through Construction Administration. Her favorite part is walking into a space and hearing patients, family members and staff talking about how much a space has brought comfort and peace to their time spent in a facility.

Jennifer Senior Interior Designer
Jennifer grew up in the small town of Marceline, Missouri, boyhood home of Walt Disney. Her love of art, design and construction started at an early age watching her father complete many renovations to her childhood home growing up.
Jennifer has 20 years' experience designing healthcare facilities, senior living communities, commercial and financial institutions across the United States spending her career in St. Louis, Orlando, and Phoenix. Jennifer moved to Arizona in 2011, joining Corporate Interior Systems as a Technical Designer then became Director of Technical Design. Wanting to get back to her design roots she joined DBSI in 2014 designing banks and credit unions but her passion for the healthcare industry brought her to join Thoma-Holec Design.
She currently resides in Chandler, with her daughter, son and fiancÚ. Her spare time is spent watching her children's soccer & baseball games, reading her favorite spy thriller novels and traveling.

Shahlla Senior Interior Designer
Shahlla is an accomplished interior designer, in both commercial and residential spaces. With more than 20 years of experience in interior design, Shahlla brings to Thoma-Holec Design an exceptional design expertise to strengthen our team of design excellence. Shahlla's outstanding talent and her degree in Environmental Design from Purdue University helped launch her career as an interior designer in the commercial arena where she worked on large projects including Atlantis Beach Tower Sales Gallery, Lyle Anderson Company, and Avnet Showrooms. Her love of interior design and architecture has included a very strong emphasis on marketing centers, corporate offices, exhibits, and public facilities.
Shahlla's keen eye for design is evident in all aspects of her creativity which seems to know no bounds. Designing and conceptualizing beautiful spaces for Thoma-Holec Design have allowed Shahlla to showcase her amazing attention to detail.

Cherie Assistant Designer
Cherie is a native Arizonian. After her high school graduation she went on to attend the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. After one year of studies at Moody Bible Institute Cheri transferred to Scottsdale Community College. Her course of study at Scottsdale Community College was a focus on Interior Design. During college she worked as a student intern at Habitat in their Model Home Merchandising Division. At completion of her internship, Cheri continued to work in the Model Home Merchandising division as an interior design assistant.
Cherie is a dedicated and involved Mother of three children. Her organizational skills, creativity and reliability allow her to multitask with her assistant design responsibilities as well as keeping up with her active family.

Qingmeng Assistant Designer
The first time Qingmeng started to learn drawing was at age 16. She practiced basic drawing skills for a few years, and eventually stepped into the interior design field of study. Before completing a Masters in Interior Architecture and Design in the spring of 2012, she worked on a few residential projects in China, but wanted to expand her professional skills in interior design, so Qingmeng came to the United States. She now enjoys her time with Thoma-Holec Design and looks forward to continuing her career and strives to give it her best on every single project.

Cameron Assistant Designer
Cameron has always had a passion for bringing joy to others. Originally a music major, he decided to change his focus in order that he might bring a longer lasting joy to others through the practice of interior design. A Northern California native, Cameron moved to Arizona to finish school and ended up staying after completion. He attended and graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Phoenix.
He began a student internship with Thoma-Holec Design in October 2015, and was soon after hired as a junior designer. He is excited for the opportunity he has to expand his knowledge in the field of interior design, and bring joy to as many people as possible through design.

Carol Office Administrator / Bookkeeper
Carol is responsible for all internal accounts payable and receivables. With over 15 years experience performing accounting and bookkeeping functions for interior design firms, Carol is responsible for all internal accounts payable, receivables, and procurement tracking. Prior to joining Thoma-Holec Design she was employed at MGA Interiors and Habitat, Inc. in the accounts payable department.
Mike Installation Team Lead
An efficient and organized installation is one of the keys to Thoma-Holec Design's success. Mike is responsible for the furniture, artwork and accessory installation teams and is onsite at each installation. His personal involvement with the placement of furnishings and artwork enables the install to complete in a timely manner with quality control foremost on his agenda. Prior to joining Thoma-Holec Design, Mike was part of the management team at Lynch Furniture Handlers. Mike is a veteran of Desert Storm.
Steven Design Consultant
Steven's responsibilities, on an as needed basis, include consulting, AutoCAD preliminary design and construction documents. As an industrial designer with a background in the exhibit design field and museum interpretive design, Steven has expertise in project management, signage design, millwork fabrication, and graphic design. As a former protestant minister his spiritual guidance and understanding of the frailty of the senior population enables him to assist the design department in creating interiors that function for all senior impairments.
Architectural Support Haus provides meticulous construction documents, is capable of surveying as-built conditions, may provide project management upon request, and can develop color renderings. We work with current versions of AutoCAD® and Adobe® Creative Suite®.
C.W. Barsness, CPA is the Certified Public Accounting firm responsible for all accounting functions, payroll, tax, and administrative functions of Thoma-Holec Design LLC.
